Women’s Ministry

The vision of the Women’s Ministry is a unified community of ministries connecting hearts and changing lives.

Vision Statement

Collaborating with RTCSRH ministries, our mission is to provide a place for women to share, be transparent and to grow in God by:

  • Encouraging spiritual, emotional and physical wholeness
  • Engaging in deeper, intentional relationships
  • Empowering service and outreach to the community for Christ

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”  3 John 1:2

Women have been and remain to be a vital part of the ongoing ministry of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and of Refuge Temple Southern Regional Headquarters since its humble beginnings. This ministry was built upon the sacrifices and prayers of the women of COOLJC as well as the women of our local assembly.

The Refuge Temple Church Women’s Ministry operates under the auspices of the International body-the Missionary Department, International Women’s Council and the Ministers and Deacons Wives Guild of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. The Women’s Ministry serves the church through evangelism and programs that are designed to meet the spiritual, social and educational needs of all women.

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to equip women with the necessary tools to minister to the total woman with the same common goal of winning lost souls to Christ. The Women’s Ministry is dedicated to embracing all women in the church, all women who join the church are considered a part of the Women’s Council, and we encourage active participation in any and all activities. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where women can experience spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills, and minister in the local church and their communities.

Spiritual services are planned to engage the women, empower the women, and strengthen the women as well as identifying each one’s uniqueness for the up building of God’s Kingdom.  While yet building a sense of community and sisterhood that supports the overall goals of the church. Participation in the IWC Annual Convention provides an opportunity for spiritual renewal and Christian networking. Working together, we can promote spiritual growth, minister to the needs of the women of all ages and embrace social concerns of today and claim the victory that is ours.
